Welcome
Lizzie Madder studied at Loughborough College of Art in the 1970s. She later studied botanical art and was a member of the Leicestershire Society of Botanical Artists. In 2002, after moving to Cambridgeshire, Lizzie discovered the flat landscapes and big skies of the Fens. This ever-changing, never-changing landscape took her painting in a very new direction. Lizzie works mostly in watercolour.
Lizzie is also a poet : samples of her work are contained in three anthologies of women poets and her individual collection, "Negotiating the Days", which powerfully- yet beautifully- details her experience of cancer was published in June 2012.
